Dacre Homes is a truly family run business. In 1983, the Chamberlain brothers started a civil engineering company, now known as gphl. They formed a solid foundation and reputation in the industry, and their third brother later joined and brought invaluable surveying knowledge that has allowed the business to expand and branch out further than they ever imagined. In 2001, they opened their first lodge and caravan park at Flusco Wood, the beginnings of the diversification of the company. This has now evolved into a popular private and self-catering lodge park, with a secondary lodge park located in the beautiful Lake District. The holiday parks come under the larger Lyon Group Holdings, which works closely with gphl and has given them the experience in the building and maintaining of beautiful quality lodges from the foundations to the furnishings.
Dacre Homes was born out of a desire to use the knowledge and experience acquired by the family over these 40 years to build quality and practical homes that suit all kinds of lifestyle.
